In this section you can find all tips and notes brought you by the Wave team to make sure you have a more smooth experience with the software.

Tips

• Use as many tip services (Jito, NextBlock, etc...) as possible. The more services used when sending a transaction, the more chances to have a quicker landing time. You only get charged the tip by the transaction that lands, failed transactions won't charge you tip.

• Run Wave on a hosted VPS near to your node and other services. Less latency means quicker execution times for anything which uses the network. We suggest using a Frankfurt VPS since all Wave services, including the node, are hosted on Frankfurt.

• You only need to restart the bot if you change your node URL or any of the tip services (Jito, NextBlock, etc...) URLs. Any changes made to tasks or configs will be automatically picked by the bot while running.

• Modules use a caching system, meaning your runtime data won't be lost if you restart it, such as limit orders or copy trader positions. You can restart the bot at any time and run the module again to pick up the last session state.

Notes

• Keep in mind modules can use SOL, WSOL, USDC or similar stable coins for swapping depending on the program (Pump.fun, Raydium, Meteora, etc.) used. Make sure to have any necessary payment token ready on your wallet so swaps don't fail.
